Whisper 2 problems

Hi. I have two Whisper 2 units which have started to give strange readings, both have full batteries and strong WIFI connection. One unit is showing low moisture content when the soil is very damp and the other is showing 123 lux constantly. Any help would be most appreciated.

Hello.

I have a wishperer sensor in my garden and the measured values, in my opinion, are not correct in the following hours when the garden is watered. I have seen this same problem on other occasions. Is it possible to check it? Thank you very much.

No LED

There is no LED on my device.  I've power cycled on and off a few times and no change.

Strangely enough it shows connected to wifi but not starting water on a manual test.


Is it dead?

Netro Pixie Z1 Connection Issues to Hub - Please Help

Hi there,


I have a Netro Pixie Z1 hose timer in my garden, which is about 50 feet away from its hub. I’ve been dealing with connection issues (routinely disconnecting from the app and randomly stopping watering schedules), which is strange because there are no obstructions between the timer and the hub, and it is a fairly short distance. When standing by the timer, I can clearly 

see the hub in my window. I have the hub plugged into the back of my WiFi router via an Ethernet cable, so WiFi connection is not the problem. The connection between the timer and the hub is. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this problem? If I can’t get the Pixie Z1 to have a stable connection, I will have to buy a regular Pixie.

Potted Pkants

I recently added a drip irrigation system to my potted plants.  I do not have a dedicated zone for these plants, but instead tied the drip lines to a sprinkler head watering part of my lawn.   This zone uses the smart zone feature and works well.   The potted plants are under my roof and never see rain.    If I add a program for this zone with a daily frequency and 1 minute duration, will it still activate if raining?   I want both the smart zone to work as well as the program to work, but always needing the daily, albeit short program to run independent of rainfall.


Am I asking too much?   Otherwise, I must add another zone / valve to my system.

Set up with mobile phone hotspot

Hi I am going to install a sprite controller at a property before wifi is installed. 

Can I set up programs on the controller using hotspot from my phone? So it can then use the irrigation schedule in offline mode until I can connect to wifi.

Connecting to Wi-Fi

I've had Netro for 3 years I changed my wifi and I updated it my app. It worked for a couple of weeks and all of a sudden it stopped working. I can't get it to connect to the wifi. It says offline. I can't even do a manual run. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Netro delivery

I ordered 2x Netro units late October, waiting delivery in Australia, I am glad to see some posts from people having had theirs delivered. Seeing the Netro go on sale heavily advertised up to the Black Friday sale, I cannot help but wonder if the rest of the world market is treated differently to the US customers.

One unit for my daughter’s November birthday and another for Christmas. Looks like an empty sock this year. 

In Australia orders are handled in the order they are received.


I have emailed support but they only respond, they are not initiating updates. They say I will soon get a tracking number but I don’t even get that. Soon it will be the holiday season so hope for a refund of my October payment.


If J could I would give my experience a one star, but the website does not have the capability of showing me what other people are experiencing.

Spark not working

My Spark will no longer turn on any zones the app says that the zone is turned on but there is no activity. The front panel shows no zone number or time. It also won’t water from the front panel.

MAKE IT SIMPLE AND FAST!


- not possible to run multiple valve at the same time

- app and webapp full of useless things such as the BIG clock in the schedule attached

- interface full of too many things. I dont care about smart watering. why my screen should be full of that?

- setting full of useless things.

- apps should be fast and simple, if you focus on professionals. If you focus on housewives is another story.

- example of ewelink

- not possible to run all the time you want. max 60 minutes. Edit program full of things again. 

- under zone there should be the possibility to add the schedule. why you are making an extra menu?? Zone 1 --> prog1 -->start h8.00; finish h.10:00
