For zones with shrubs or trees—whose roots are typically longer than grass and absorb water from deeper soil layers—the soil moisture takes longer to deplete. Correspondingly, replenishing this moisture via sprinklers also demands extended operation time.

We recommend enabling smart zone feature and  navigate to the Zone Page, input the specific plant type and soil type, then observe whether the Smart Watering schedule suits your plants over one week. If watering proves insufficient, you can create a custom program; if excessive, adjust the mode within Smart Zone settings.
