Seeding my lawn this week... How do I adjust the "New Plant" option for consistent watering?

Hi... since it's still fairly warm outside, I'd like to have the Zone water every 2 hrs for about 3 minutes just to keep the ground moisture up.

I'm not clear on how to do this?  Anyone?

Dear customer,

You can adjust the watering mode on the smart zone page, please go to settings->zones, select your zone, go to smart zone->mode.  You can set it to "New Plant" mode.

Thank you. I know how to get to the "Smart Zone" and set it for "New Plant".

The issue is that "Estimated Frequency and Duration" are not adjustable (blacked out). I can set Boost Factor to 10 but that just changes the water duration time. I'd like the Zone to water for 5 minutes every 2-3 hrs. Is that possible?

Thanks for clarifying the issue. Currently, the Smart Watering feature isn’t able to strictly adjust to this specific schedule. It operates based on plant type, weather, and soil conditions, so control over frequency (e.g., water for 5 minutes every 2-3 hrs) is limited here.

We recommend using the Programs function instead. You can set it up by going to Settings > Programs and adding a new custom program.
