How do I do long uninterrupted watering?

The Sprite is breaking the watering of my trees into a whole bunch of short bits of watering. Given the way my soil sucks down water, I'd prefer to water my trees for 4 contiguous hours of watering every two weeks, but there does not seem to be a way do specify this directly.

Dear customer,


Netro breaks the watering into many pieces to avoid water runoff. You can create muliple programs for each zone to water for 4 hours.  The maximum watering time for each program is 60 minutes. If you want to water more than 60 minutes, just create another program for this zone.

I could run a garden hose full blast in my yard for 10 minutes, and the wet spot would not get more than 3' in diameter. I don't need to break up my watering. I live on a hillside, yet have never seen flowing water anywhere on my property.

Thanks for your feedback. Netro smart watering calculates the smart schedules based on environmental conditions including the soil type. If the selected soil type is clay, clay loam or loam which accepts water slowly, often as little as 1/4 inch per hour, Netro will break the watering into many pieces to avoid water runoff.

As a workaround, you could add your own programs to make sure Netro not break up watering.
