Configuration for Netro Sprite suggestions requests

I am interested in buying the Netro Sprite sprinkler. I read several reviews and they are all pretty good. I noticed that many state that the sprite is not able to water two zones at the same time. Is this something limited by project and wanted or do you think it could be upgraded with a software upgrade?

I wanted to ask you some questions about my garden layout. I attach a planimetry for convenience.

The garden consists of two pieces surrounded by railings with a central railing too. The one on the left side is about 70cm lower then the one on the right side.

The two big areas are covered with lawn. At the left side border there are 8 laurus nobilis plants (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurus_nobilis) while at the right side border there are 8 Trachelospermum jasminoides plants (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trachelospermum_jasminoides).

Based on your experience how many zones would you create. At first I thought to go with three zones: one for both lawn plots, one for the laurus and another for the Trachelospermum. My doubt is I need to split the two lawn plots into two separate zones. How would the inability to operate different zones at the same time affect the watering and would the Sprite handle different times automatically or would I need to intervene manually?

My last question is about the Whisperer sensor, how many of them would you place in the garden?

Zones Scheduled; Did Not Run

Really enjoying the product and app so far. 

 Another question: I noticed my Smart Water schedule includes a couple zones that did not end up running at the scheduled time (see attached screenshot). Is this due to the dynamic changes in the algorithm? The home page did show, however, that these zones ran but they actually did not.

It's been nearly two months since you said adjusting actual rainfall would be added to the app. No useful updates at all. We deserve to know if you are spending your time on other products, and are not planning to fix this app. Transparency would help keep me from pulling my hair out.

Rain Delay

Any chance you folks will add a rain delay feature in the app? It’s hard enough for Netro to predict the weather, and it certainly can’t adjust to every missed forecast. But it’s quite easy for me to hit 24 HR DELAY and make it right.

Keeps watering after heavy rains!

Watering zones twice

My smart schedule seems to be working very well and is adapting to weather, etc.  However on days where it waters it seems to be doing everything twice.  For example many days it runs through all my zones and then immediately runs through them all again, each zone the same amount of time as the first time through.  Is this a glitch?  Seems like 9-14 minutes two times over the course of a few hours is a lot to me.

One Lawn, 2 Zones

I have a lawn that is irrigated by 2 zones. How does Sprite determine that these zones are watering the same lawn? It wasn’t clear when setting up zones to inform that the zones are related to the same lawn. 


 Or, does it not matter, since the parameters are the same (lawn species, soil type, slope, area/2, etc.)?

Disconnecting Constantly

My Netro Smart Sprinkler Controller, WiFi, Weather aware, Remote access, 6 Zone, Compatible with Alexa disconnects CONSTANTLY from the app/network and I’m about to put back on our old school controller. Today it disconnected IN THE MIDDLE of watering the lawn while I was feeding/putting my baby down for a nap and it ended up watering for 28 mins, flooding my backyard. Ugh. 


Any tips on fixing this? I do not have intermittent internet or power issues. Is there a hardware update? Aside from this, I LOVE it - but this is kind of a deal killer for me. I plan to call customer service on Monday, but thought I’d check here for tips to see if I can fix it sooner.

Changing networking

Hello! We just changed out our router and have a new network name and password. We went to the app to change the network and each time the app crashes. Now we are offline and stuck. Please help!!

I have my device set up as "lawn" under my devices.  I have a program set up which has a run time for each of the zones, supposedly scheduled to start June 7.  Why is there no scheduled run appearing under my schedule or anything under my "next run" field under my listed device?

Can the time be changed on the schedule to AM/PM and not 24/hr clock? 

AccuWeather.com if selected waters in the AM. If i switch it to the other 2 it changes the schedule to PM watering. What is the reasoning behind this? I would prefer AM watering but would like to use a different weather provider.

Amazon and Google connection in Gernany

Hi.

I bought Netro Sprite because of the possibility to connect itto with Amazon and/or Google Home.


So, in Germany the Alexa skill is not in the Amazon store.... 


And Google Assistent can't find Netro Sprite.

In the list of home automation devices Netro ist also not included. 

The description to connect Google and Netro can't help me.


Ist it possible that you list the Amazon skill in Germany too?


And can you tell me, step by step, how I could connect Netro Sprite with my Google home?

Wont recognize network which has an apostrophe in the name?

My customer has a network name that contains an apostrophe. Larry Arch's Wifi. He uses an AirPort Extreme router and two AirPort Extreme range extenders. They have many household devices connected to this network and all of their service contractors use it too. Is there a workaround? They will not be able to use Netro products if there isn't.

Not watering on any zone

The sprite worked perfect for about 3 weeks. Went out of town for a week, during that time it snowed for the entire duration of my trip. The unit worked as it should and didnt water. However when it should have picked up its schedule after weather cleared it did not. It will not run its zone at all. I have checked the resistance on all zones solenoids and they are fine at 28 ohm. I reconnected my old hunter system and all zones worked properly with that controller. So whats the next step?

Constant Blinking

My device appears to be connected and working, but I noticed the light on the unit is blinking constantly.  Is it supposed to be doing that?
