Hi Maegan,

Do you want to disable the smart zone feature? If so, please go to Settings->Zones, select a zone, tap "Smart Zone" and disable it. Here is an article about Netro three watering modes which might be helpful. https://netrohome.com/forum/posts/111

How to water some zones simultaneously

Logo
Netro Inc
Updated at 2020-06-10 07:56:09 UTC

Dear Andrey,

Currently Netro can only run one zone at a time, so different zones for the same time cannot be created.

The limitation is from both software and hardware. In the software, we design the program to run the zones each by each. For the hardware, if you force to run multiple valves, the fuse on the circuit will cut off to protect the power from over heating.

Rain Delay

Logo
Netro Inc
Updated at 2020-06-10 07:42:23 UTC

Dear customer,

As you set the rain threshold "0.1" inch and days to skip as "rainy day", Netro will skip your watering schedules when the reported rain amount is larger than 0.1 inch. Netro skipped your schedules on June 8. Could you please let us know on which day Netro still watered your zone even it's raining? Rain amount was less than 0.1 inch reported by Accuweather expect on June 8 and perhaps the weather provider is not accurate. You can  find the historical rain data here https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/denver/80203/june-weather/347810?year=2020&view=list

If Accuweather does not work for you, you could try other weather source in settings->controller->weather provider.

Of course, all weather forecast could be wrong. Netro tries the best to provide accurate watering schedule even with incorrect forecast. First, we periodically update the weather data, once the weather data is changed, we update the un-executed schedules ASAP. Second, we re-check the weather data for the past, update our model, and adjust following schedules accordingly. For example, Netro may not water today due to large rainfall from forecast data. The next day, Netro re-check the weather data, if no rainfall found and your soil is dry enough, Netro will water accordingly.

Hi Simone,

This is a DC power adapter. It does not work with the Netro controllers. You will need to find the AC 24V power adapter.

For sure, you could update the threshold to 40% for each sensor in settings->sensors->select a sensor->watering adjustment->moisture to add watering.

Dear customer,

In the newest version of the app, we allow one sensor to monitor up to 3 zones but the user needs to make sure the zones have similar environmental conditions.

Please see this article about Plant Sensors Monitoring Multiple Zones http://www.netrohome.com/forum/posts/432

Dear Alessandro,

We did some research and the myrtle family (Myrtaceae) contains about 150 genera and 3,300 species of trees and shrubs. You can search for "Eugenia" or "myrtle" to check if it is similar. We can update our plant database and could you please tell us more details about your plants, for example, the botanical name of your plants. Please let us know if you are referring to "Metrosideros excelsa".

Watering metrics question

Updated at 2020-06-04 02:34:03 UTC

Dear Egan,

Thanks for contacting us and we found you have created your programs and set smart level basic. To read the irrigation amount, please go to Discover page to check.

We suggest you could water your garden when the soil is dry enough in order to draw more oxygen into the roots, leading to a lusher landscape. You can keep the moisture level at above 80%. We checked your schedule and the watering duration is good for your rose plants.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Netro Sprite non apre le valvole

Updated at 2020-06-04 02:22:54 UTC

Dear Simone,

24v AC power adapter 1000ma power supply is ok.

You mentioned that the valve did not open. Please check the wires. Are they loose or disconnected from the slots? Please also check the common wires and the master valve if you have one. If you believe the wires are correctly installed,  please check if there is a main valve/faucet that is turned off manually.

To test if the controller is working properly, use a multimeter (AC voltage mode) to test the voltage between the common wire and the zone wire when the zone is active. Normally the voltage should be between 24V and 28V.

You might also want to check whether there are shorted zones or open zones. You just need to use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the common wire and each zone (remove the wires from the slots before testing the resistance). The normal reading would be 20-60 Ohms. If the reading is less than 10 Ohms then you might have a shorted circuit in the solenoid and if it is larger than 80 Ohms you might have an open circuit.

Exclamation warnings in calendar what do they mean?

Logo
Netro Inc
Updated at 2020-05-30 02:20:14 UTC

Dear Jesse,

When Sprite finishes running a watering schedule, it will send a confirmation to the cloud server. In this way, the could server knows whether the schedules are correctly executed or not.

The exclamation mark means the cloud server did not receive the confirmation from the device. There are two possible causes:

1. the device is not powered up when it was supposed to be powered up to run that schedule. Therefore, the corresponding zone is not watered (what is why we use the exclamation to alert users)

2. the schedule run fine but it was during a temporary network outage or exception so that the confirmation cannot be delivered to the server. Wireless connection can be unstable for a short peroid time so it is not uncommon to have a glitch in the communication.

In your case, the schedules afterwards are all correctly run and confirmed so don't worry about it. It could just be a temporary network issues. But if that happens a lot please check the WiFi signal strength. If you use a WiFi extender, please make sure it is connected to the main router stably.

Thanks,
Netro Support

Dear customer,

To reset all the watering activities, you will have to delete your device and then add it to your account again. Please note in this way all your zone settings will also be deleted.

Could you please let us know why you would like to reset all the programs? We can also help you reset from the server side.
