Dear customer,

Sorry, we are unable to waive the shipping fee. Netro offers free shipping on orders over $150, otherwise $25* for the UK.

Currently, we only offer free shipping orders within the United States and China. The $25 shipping fee includes the cost of transportation from our overseas warehouse to the UK warehouse, as well as customs fees.

Thanks.

Does the "smart" behind Netro Sprite & Spark use data from Whisperer?

Dear customer,

Yes a Whisperersensor can be assigned a zone. In this case, the Sprite can utilize the data from the Whisperer to optimize the watering schedule.

Dear customer,

You can reset the unit to start over. The RST button is located underneath cover and is next to the AC adapter wiring slots. It is marked RST. Please hold down on the reset button for 6-8 seconds and then wait for 1-2 minutes. The light on the Sprite unit should then start blinking slowly and then follow the steps on the app accordingly.

Dear customer,

If you turn on the smart zone feature, Netro will skip the schedules(including manual schedules from user programs) when there is a chance of significant rain(>0.2inch).

For rain expectation, it uses the amount of rainfall multiplied by the probability of the rainfall to compare with the threshold. If the result is 0.2 inches or higher, than we will cancel watering schedules. For example, if rainfall is 0.2 inches but the probability is 50%, then 0.2*.5 = .1, 0.1 is less than 0.2, so the watering will go as scheduled. But if rainfall is 0.4 inches with 50%, then the Smart Zone will cancel the watering schedule for that day.

Dear customer,

We understand that in many countries, flow rates are often measured in volume per minute, while our app requires this data in inches per hour. Therefore, we convert volume per minute into the values our app needs, taking into account the area covered by the soil and its depth affected. In future versions, we plan to include a conversion formula within the app for clarity and convenience.

Dear customer,

Are you using Pixie-1 timer? By default, your Pixie turns on its WiFi module once every hour to sync up with the server. The sync-up usually takes less than one minute. For the next 59 minutes the timer will be sleeping and disconnected from the WiFi until the next sync. When the timer is sleeping, it is unaware of the schedule changes, including the manual watering.

If you have to water instantly, you can go to Settings -> Preferences-> "Keep Online" and enable the feature.

Watering by moisture level higher 90%

Updated at 2023-09-05 01:53:30 UTC

Dear customer,

92% moisture level means there won't be any watering scheduled. If you see a watering schedule set for two to three days later, it's normal. This schedule is estimated based on the humidity. If the humidity is higher than the set threshold on that day, Netro will adjust the watering accordingly.

Dear customer,

You can go to Settings->Zones->Smart Zone (Settings->Garden->Smart Zone for Pixie Timer) and toggle the enable button. When the smart zone is disabled, the system will strictly follow the user program to water the zones. There is no intelligence here. Netro will not skip your schedules when there is rain. Regulation feature will not be in effect as well.

Thanks,

Zones water at for a small amount of time.

Updated at 2023-09-05 01:12:23 UTC

Dear customer,

Please check the wires. Are they loose or disconnected from the slots? Please also check the common wires and the master valve if you have one. If you believe the wires are correctly installed,  please check if there is a main valve/faucet that is turned off manually.

To test if the controller is working properly, use a multimeter (AC voltage mode) to test the voltage between the common wire and the zone wire when the zone is active. Normally the voltage should be between 24V and 28V.

You might also want to check whether there are shorted zones or open zones. You just need to use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the common wire and each zone (remove the wires from the slots before testing the resistance). The normal reading would be 20-60 Ohms. If the reading is less than 10 Ohms then you might have a shorted circuit in the solenoid and if it is larger than 80 Ohms you might have an open circuit.

PIXIE-1 Low pressure IN - gravity irrigation systems don't Work

Updated at 2023-09-04 00:50:42 UTC

Dear customer,

Sorry, the PIXIE-1 timer requires a water source with sufficient pressure, either from tap water or a pressurized water source. In your case, the water pressure is low, it might not be suitable for the PIXIE-1 timer. You might consider using a drip irrigation system. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Thanks,

Wency
