Updated at 2025-10-13 06:48:10 UTC

Dear customer,

Please check the wires. Are they loose or disconnected from the slots? Please also check the common wires and the master valve if you have one. If you believe the wires are correctly installed,  please check if there is a main valve/faucet that is turned off manually.

To test if the controller is working properly, use a multimeter (AC voltage mode) to test the voltage between the common wire and the zone wire when the zone is active. Normally the voltage should be between 24V and 28V.

You might also want to check whether there are shorted zones or open zones. You just need to use a multimeter to measure the resistance between the common wire and each zone (remove the wires from the slots before testing the resistance). The normal reading would be 20-60 Ohms. If the reading is less than 10 Ohms then you might have a shorted circuit in the solenoid and if it is larger than 80 Ohms you might have an open circuit.

Updated at 2025-10-10 07:56:46 UTC

Dear customer,

The smart watering function doesn’t support setting watering by specific water volume directly. However, you can adjust the system to calculate water usage based on your needs through these steps:

Go to Settings > Zones > Smart Zone > Mode, select Customized, click Flow Rate below, input the flow rate to calculate the water usage. You can then adjust the smart watering frequency according to the calculated water volume.
Let us know if you need help with the setup—we’re happy to guide you through it!

Dear customer,

It's normal to have alert : "Please connect to Wi-fi network "Netro_IRC_xxx." , because this is internal wifi, not real internet wifi.
Please disregard this message, and get back to Netro app, to click Next button, it will pop up your home wifi, please connect your home wifi and input home wifi password, then the device will connect to your home wifi directly.
One tip is that, please disable your 4G data when you install the device, only use your home wifi.

Thanks,

Updated at 2025-09-25 07:47:20 UTC

Dear customer,

1. Currently, adjusting the irrigation percentage directly isn’t supported.

2. The rain delay feature will only go in effect when the smart zone is enabled.

3. The slight long delay is normal, and it’s typically related to network communication.

Dear customer,

Is the program you set currently set to run each zone for 13 minutes?
Netro device doesn’t support running two zones simultaneously for irrigation. That said, if your tank can accommodate watering each zone individually for 13 minutes (rather than both at the same time), this setup should work smoothly for you.

If you have any follow-up questions, please feel free to let us know.

Updated at 2025-09-02 09:32:31 UTC
Dear customer,

Could you please check if the sensor under your account is set as a standalone sensor? If so, to move the stand alone sensors to a zone, first you have to go to Settings->Sensors->Edit(upper right corner) and then delete the sensor. Next you will have to go to the home page. There is a drop down menu and please select your Sprite controller, then tap the "+" button on the upper right corner,  go to Add a Product-> Plant sensor and then select the zone and complete the following procedures to add the sensor. You will need to press the button 6 times on the back of the sensor to change its mode to Setup mode (light blinking slowly).

If you have any further concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

Dear customer,

Our R&D team is currently investigating the cause—they’re looking into two key possibilities: whether the issue is related to network connectivity, or if it stems from the solenoid valve’s pulse signal. We’ll reach out to you as soon as we have updates.

How to run two irrigation zones simultaneously to avoid overlap issues

19
Wency Pan
Updated at 2025-08-25 07:17:32 UTC

Dear customer,

Currently the controllers are independent from each other.  Multiple controllers are not aware of each other now.

We are thinking about recognizing additional controllers as extensions, not as different units. In this way, there will be no overlapping of watering times and users can see one schedule for the day and do not need to switch between controllers.

I think one possible workaround it to add restrictions, for example, you can tell one controller to only water on even days and the other one to water on odd days. Or one controller to only water before 7am and the other one only water after 7am.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let us know.
