Unknown irrigation zone that did not work

Dear customer,


We suggest using a multimeter (AC voltage mode) to test the voltage between the common wire and the zone wire when the zone is active. Normally the voltage should be between 24V and 28V. In this way, you can determine if the valve should be checked.

Rainy day shut off

Dear customer,


Rain delay is to forbidden watering in the next following days after rain and it is one-time setting. If you want to save the settings, please go to settings->preferences -> rain -> days to skip.

To cancel the rain delay restriction, please go to schedule->tab the specific date (date with gray dot beneath is your restriction date), then tab on the specific restriction, it will give you the option to cancel the restriction.

We have implemented the app notification when the device starts to water. Currently it is ready for beta testing. If you are interested in trying this feature, we will enable it internally for you. In the next app release, there will be a public on/off control for this feature.

Dear customer,


Netro may not have over-watered your zone. Netro's water usage is based on zone area and it is the estimated value that may not be accurate enough.

However, using a flow meter can help to improve the accuracy of the estimation. If your flow meter is not accurate, the data estimated by it may be biased. Nevertheless, overall, Netro is doing its best to help you optimize your watering and reduce water waste.

Installation 3 Wisperer and a Pixie in my garden

One water valve can only be assigned to one sensor and cannot be connected to multiple sensors simultaneously. You can add the other sensors as standalone sensors.


If the Pixie and Whisperers are installed in different areas, they cannot work together to optimize your garden watering. This is because Pixie and Whisperers require communication with each other to intelligently manage the plants' watering needs.

If the LED light bothers you, you can use a dark tape on it.

 The soil around the sensor should be tight, otherwise the moisture reading will be too low and it will be difficult to train the sensor to understand the soil. Please let us know if it helps.

Dear customer,

Thank you very much for your support of our Netro products! Please find the answers below:
  1. Our design team has carefully designed the cover to ensure that the product can provide optimal performance in various environments, and the product's light is already very bright. We will consider your suggestion and provide feedback to the design team. We recommend installing the unit in a slightly darker environment or installing it indoors.
  2. Netro Spark controller has an internal battery that generally does not need to be replaced.
  3. The Pixie battery is permanently rechargeable and can charge under sunlight.
  4. Thank you for your suggestion regarding the web interface. I will report it to our R&D team for improvement.
  5. We do not allow two programs to overlap watering times, so the app will give an error message. You can check whether your programs have time conflicts.
  6. We apologize that we do not currently support copying program. The backup program is designed to ensure that the device continues to operate in case of a network outage. It does not run when the device is connected to the network, and it will run after the device is disconnected and the settings are successfully saved on the cloud server.

This is a known issue and we will fix it in the next release. There is a work around way, please add the device by using any random US address. After installation, please send us(support@netrohome.com) an email with your current complete address info inlcuding zipcode and country. 

We will update this info from server, which will not affect your normal use of the product.
